Programs Assistant & Events Coordinator - Volunteer  - 3 Hours a Week - From your home

This position will help with organizing and creating documents, flyers and take part in other operational functions. The ideal person for this role is a self-starter and passionate about mentoring. Previous experience is preferred but not required.  Internet and MS word proficiency is a requirement.  One year commitment preferred. 

  • Help with routine administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Work with program volunteers and help organize group mentoring events and other activities.
  • Coordinate Board meetings, document and distribute meeting notes.
  • Schedule mentor and mentee meetings and review sessions.
  • Respond to e-mails and online enquiries.
  • Help, Track monitoring relationships.
  • Help establish procedures and refine processes etc. 
  • Create event flyers and distribute as needed. 
  • Make recommendations and help improve existing processes including proposing and implementing new ideas.
